Networking Event Hilton Brisbane | Corporate Photography
The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office’s recent Hilton Brisbane event was an opportunity for business owners and local government members to come together to celebrate Chinese New Year.
With a surprise lion dance performance to kick things off at the beginning of the night, this local event photographer was certainly run off her feet!
It was important to my client that the photos of the night really captured the vibe of their guests connecting and having a good time. I approached the event with a balanced mixture of candid images and group photos throughout the night.
The speeches and formalities were taken using my trusty 70-200mm lens. This enabled me to get those nice close-up crops while staying back, out of the way of guests. With a wider angle lens on my second camera I was able to quickly turn around to catch the audience’s reactions.
I always carry two cameras on each and every event I photograph, for maximum coverage that allows me to be discreet and unobtrusive while getting the job done!
