OHS Leaders Summit at Sofitel Brisbane Central

The OHS Leaders Summit took place over two days at Sofitel Brisbane Central, bringing together industry leaders for a program of plenary sessions, breakout discussions, and networking events.

The conference format required coverage that could adapt to a full schedule across multiple spaces, while remaining unobtrusive throughout both formal and informal moments of the day.

A two-day conference program

The conference included an early morning breakfast, multiple concurrent sessions across both days, and concluded with networking drinks — requiring coverage that could move seamlessly between formal presentations and more informal moments throughout the event.

Capturing sessions and networking

With sessions running across different formats and spaces, the focus was on capturing a balanced set of images — from speakers on stage and engaged audiences, to the interactions and conversations that took place between sessions.

Photographing a conference at Sofitel Brisbane Central

Sofitel Brisbane Central’s conference spaces shift throughout the day, from presentation-focused sessions to networking and social moments. Photographing events in this environment requires an understanding of how the rooms function, as well as the ability to work discreetly within a live conference setting.
