Volunteer Guides End of Year Event | QAGOMA Brisbane
This end-of-year volunteer celebration took place at QAGOMA in South Brisbane, bringing together the gallery’s volunteer guides for an evening of connection beside the Brisbane River.
Held during golden hour, the setting created a stunning backdrop for the evening’s celebrations.
Celebrating QAGOMA’s Volunteer Community at GOMA Bistro
The annual gathering gave QAGOMA management the opportunity to thank their volunteer guides, with speeches, conversations and shared moments that reflected the strong sense of community within the group.
Events at QAGOMA offer a unique setting for corporate and cultural gatherings in Brisbane, with the gallery’s riverfront spaces creating a memorable atmosphere for guests.
With informal speeches, live music and a lively lucky door prize draw, there was plenty happening throughout the evening.

Words of Appreciation from My Client
“Morning Kirsten,
I just wanted to say a very sincere thank you for your particularly stunning documentation of the Volunteers guides end of year shindig! I was so happy with your images- you expertly captured the joy, atmosphere, context, formalities and even some small details like the food and beverage teams offerings and Goma Bistro signage, which allows us to also potentially use some of these images for marketing those offerings and the Bistro space. Your neutral style that makes the people and the atmosphere the centre of the images is exactly what we’re after, so thank you! “
